One tree. One world. One community.
Grow Together is a shared experience where everyone in the world looks after a single tree. There are no accounts and no competition. Just one tree that needs your help to survive.
The tree needs water at least once every 24 hours to stay alive.
Globally. The first person to click gets it, and the button wanders each hour.
At midnight Sydney time the tree grows a little, if it was watered.
From tiny seedling to ancient gum, one real year.
If the tree goes 24 hours without water, it dies. There is no undo. The tree rests for 48 hours, and then the first person to visit can plant a new seed and start again from Day 1.
If the community keeps the tree alive for a full year, it reaches full growth. A 7-day celebration follows, and then a new cycle begins.
This is an experiment in shared responsibility. No single person can keep the tree alive alone. It needs someone every hour, every day. It is fragile by design. When the tree is alive, it's because people cared enough to come back.
